Seething.
Absolutely SEETHING.
My missus was punched in the FACE tonight by some two-bit drunken pikey slag, while she attempted to break up an argument between neighbours. Her nose has been bleeding all evening, she's got a swollen lip, and it looks like she'll have a couple of shiners come up by the morning. Despite this, she decided not to press charges (mainly to save that f***ing APES young kids the trauma of seeing their pissed-up mother being carted off in the back of a police van), but it was all I could do to stop myself from laying that f***ing dog out myself as I had it out with her in the street.

The police were very good, got here within about 10 mins and got all the details from me and the wife, spoke to the slag, and will take action if we decide to press charges (they said straight away they could arrest her tonight as she's clearly drunk, and can see by the state of my other half exactly who the aggressor was, plus witnesses outside who saw it happen).

I'm not one for confrontation, and this is the first violent incident we've ever been involved with in our close, but I came to within an *inch* of punching that munter in the gob tonight (although it'd probably have resulted in ME being in the back of a police car).

Some people. f***ing ANIMALS.

Surely one look of your racoon eyes would have scared them all off ?

Easy that is terrible mate, I hope your missus is ok? and well done for controlling your temper, instead of hitting the stupid slag.

f***ing hell, where do you live? Brookside?

Hope Mrs Ten is okay... You did well to keep yourself restrained.

No worries.
My poor wife, a nurse, wouldn't hurt a soul and was just trying to calm things down and usher a friend of hers back indoors before things esculated, and SHE ends up being the one who cops it in the face. She looks like she's gone three rounds with Tyson. Christ knows what it'll look like in the morning.

Has she put ice on her face to stop the swelling?

That's awful, hope your Mrs recovers soon.

I know how you feel, but you would have been nicked. You did right, you have the moral high ground.

Cheers chaps.
Yes Kev, she's been holding ice in a flannel to her nose and top lip, and the bleeding seems to have stopped now. She's on the phone to her mum.

Can't believe we've been involved in this kind of aggro. Maybe some people are used to this kind of thing, but we're certainly not, and its come as a massive shock to be honest.

The pathetic thing was, SHE started having a right go at ME for jabbing my finger at her as I gave her what for ! Unbelievable. In the end, I had to turn around and walk indoors before before I did something that would've landed me in it.

I'm just grateful our two kids were indoors and didn't see any of it. But some of the young kids playing in the close were upset.

:lolol: :shootself Sounds pretty harsh easy, surely you can press charges at a later date?
Yes, we've got a phone number and reference to quote if we want to take things further in the morning. My feeling is we won't, because Joanne doesn't want to go down the police station to start making statements etc to lead to a prosecution, but we'll sleep on it and see what she wants to do.

Never met you but fair play mate - the temptation to hit back (and get nicked) or press charges (and bugger up your relationship with the neighbours) must have been overwhelming.

Now (& I'm not trying to be funny) I reckon she'll appreciate you shutting down your P.C. and giving her a big hug.

The trouble is neighbours are too close to home, press charges and a feud may develop for quite a while.

Does the pikey woman own the place or short term let ?

easy to say from the safety of a PC but if you don't presss charges what's to stop it happening again? If she's convicted and it happens again the police will be straight round, they might not bother if you do nothing.

Saying that, I bet your missus is worried about neighbourly relations, the affect on the "drunken PS's" children (into care?) and further incident.

Remember, YOUR WIFE DID NOTHING WRONG..THE DRUNKEN PS DID and probably needs help. Are her kids safe with her?
