Brighton are in tentative talks with Crystal Palace regarding taking Glenn Murray back on a permanent deal. The stumbling block appears to be both clubs valuation of the player are still miles apart.

Source: A work colleague knows his agent well.

Wonder where TRANSFER CENTRAL gets his info from? ???

Meopham, Kent.
His knee will be made of glass now.

That would have been a very strange rebuilding procedure from a surgeon.

Players in all sports make amazing recoveries these days from blown out knees.

I'm guessing you are not an NFL fan, or you would have a very different view having watched Adrian Peterson the last couple of years.

I think at the right price (750k ish)...... get him back.

But I think it would stumble on salary for sure.

He left us to join our rivals.. And then fired them into the Premiership.

I don't want to see him in a Brighton shirt again tbh,

I couldn't care less who he went to. It's just stupid to expect a player to have the same club loyalties as fans. It's his livelihood and he has to the best for him and his family.

If Palace was the best offer then so what?

If there is any question of GM coming back to us the ONLY judgements should be transfer fee, wages, fitness and is he still good enough to maintain or improve the quality of our squad.

Who he's played for in the interim should be irrelevant.
