What most certainly IS fact is that Murray left and we then went and splashed a load of cash (in transfer fee AND wages) on CMS.
And your point is?

How much should we pay? 8 million?

Brighton are in tentative talks with Crystal Palace regarding taking Glenn Murray back on a permanent deal. The stumbling block appears to be both clubs valuation of the player are still miles apart.
Source: A work colleague knows his agent well.

Wonder where TRANSFER CENTRAL gets his info from?
His knee will be made of glass now.
He left us to join our rivals.. And then fired them into the Premiership.
I don't want to see him in a Brighton shirt again tbh,

This this this this.....to see him in an Albion shirt again would not be right.
This with bells on. Much rather we look for an up and coming player.100 % this , now can we close this embarrassing thread.

When will people accept that I do not have an account on that site and as such cannot post on it
Please stop banging on about it. Its all a bit 'look at me'.
Is there any substance to this?
I couldn't care less who he went to. It's just stupid to expect a player to have the same club loyalties as fans. It's his livelihood and he has to the best for him and his family.
If Palace was the best offer then so what?
If there is any question of GM coming back to us the ONLY judgements should be transfer fee, wages, fitness and is he still good enough to maintain or improve the quality of our squad.
Who he's played for in the interim should be irrelevant.
