we have been there for 1000 years :)

So you're saying Belgrade has been Hungarian for 1000 years? I think the Serbs might disagree.

Belgrade for 500 years. Remember 1456, János Hunyadi kicked the turkish asses here. But we do not miss Belgrade, we miss the land called Vajdaság, the land with hungarian profile. Its next to Belgrade to the north.

I'm not being funny but the Nazis used exactly this line of persuasion in the 1930s. Fancy taking over part of Czechoslovakia? Just say you need to "liberate" the poor oppressed Sudeten Germans. How about invading Russia? Well, what about those poor community of Germans, victims of Stalinism and trapped on the Volga since the 18th century?

It was drivel then and it's drivel now.

Sorry Gyuriba - I really don't think you're a Nazi. But I do think those can be dangerous arguments and can be abused. So why don't or can't these people move to Hungary if they're so oppressed?

Cause they love the city/village where they live and their generations lived...

The Nazis wanted to rule the whole world. We just want to get back our homeland, thats all.
