Human shields at Falmer

A Sheffield Uni-based twat on the Argus website is threatening to do a Newbury By-Pass and form a human shield in that muddy field, should we get the go-ahead for Falmer.

Unfortunately, this inaccurate Argus article has stirred up a few hitherto silent people and got them leaping on the bandwagon (ala Matt Heath etc).

Maybe this Dan Glass 'students against Falmer' story has done some damage.

To be honest, does it really matter what they say?

All representations are in to Ruth Kelly now. Her decision is due. A few students aren't going to give us any bother, especially as they are only kicking up a guss now, when the process has been going on for YEARS.

Its all irrelevant - the Argus are quite entitled to print it, however as usual they have the angle of the story wrong, the angle should have been "a handful of Student Unioners come to the table 3 years late with their objections"....instead of printing the factually incorrect shite that the students have managed to come up with...
