Even if results go agianst us tomorrow, we're 2 points off 6th with a brand new manager who had us playing Liverpool off the park for 45 minutes with a a few of our best players missing. Fab's fine by me.
We've also now played away games at Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle and Liverpool. It's good to get those fixtures out of the way.
Apart from City away I would expect us to have a decent chance of getting something from every other away game. I see no reason why not.
We're a good side and will improve further.
It's very exciting.

Don’t criticise Weiffer. Apparently it’s not allowed on here anymore 😂
it absolutely is allowed, as many recent posts on here will demonstrate, but when you’re choosing to single him out on a day where we were already 2-1 down when he came on, it looks a little vindictive and pathetic

Hinshelwood and Ayari were absolutely outstanding first half today. Impossible to have that level for 90 minutes
Indeed. So you’ve got to assume Baleba wasn’t really ready as we were then into Weiffer and Moder against a fresh Curtis Jones.

Ayari has been the surprise package so far but what are his chances when Gomez arrives in Jan or when O'Riley is fit?
Well he can only do the best he can when he’s playing and he’s been superb recently so he’ll be right in the mix, and Gomez could take some time to adapt.

To be fair, he's still learning and the Premier league is far more challenging to the German 2nd division. He's not 1 of these managers that spouts off the "we were unlucky and should've won/we played a great game and deserved more" etc etc which, is what I like about him. He says that we need to be better and wants us to be better and wants us to go toe to toe with the best.
I like him and considering who we've played so far, that's some tough opening quarter of season and the champions in town next week! The only gripe for me is the failure to beat the 3 teams at home especially the wolves 1!

Worthing
Waited too long today while we were being battered.

But also got it so right first half.
Odd game
Yes, when they had their 15-20 mins pressure, we should have been looking to break up the game with subs.

Ferdi was exhausted and i feel Tariq to support Veltman would have been sensible at 0-1.

When they came on it was more reactive.
