Shoot the bugger or shoot me if that is his response to the obvious situation he chose to ignore until it was too late , really not impressed with his BS

Poor in-game decisions from him in the last two games.

Took Baleba off against Wolves.

Something obviously needed to change today and did nothing. Then completely killed any chance of a fightback by bringing on the whole bench so we were all over the place.

Hope he learns.
Baleba got a knock against Wolves - that’s why he was subbed and he didn’t play against Liverpool in the week or start today

Tbf, against Utd he brought on 3 attacking players in the last 5 minutes and we won..

Not so much the subs players on the pitch have to deal with the momentum shifts in games in a more professional manner. The best teams can take the sting out the game without making changes.
On viewing he got our line up right today and tactically we were very good. We should have been 3 up at half time. They were always going to be better 2nd half they are just a very good side at the moment.

Can you share what subs you would have made on 60 mins?

Gruda for Rutter, don't think he had a good game today, seemed slightly off it and got caught on the ball consistently (before he then lost it and failed to win it back/yellow card foul for their second goal).

Adingra for Kadioglu, he had played pretty well but it felt like we needed a new attacking outlet, we were under the cosh and couldn't get out. Mitoma wasn't having much luck and it was getting too predictable always going down his side.

Baleba for either Ayari or Hinshelwood, we needed more energy in the middle, they'd both put a big shift in. Not sure if Baleba is injured or not, he was named on the bench so assume he had some minutes in him.

What I certainly wouldn't have done is being Wieffer on when chasing a game. Completely devoid of confidence, has shown zero attacking threat. Moder and Ferguson seemed strange too, I can sort of understand Ferguson because we might have somehow been able to fashion a chance that fell to him, but once all the subs had come on we looked completely sterile.

If he was determined to bring Wieffer on, then when we were 0-1 up would have made more sense.

their first (lucky) goal came just before the usual first sub window, annoyingly. We might have squeezed Wieffer and Lamptey on for Rutter and Ferdi between their two goals, in hindsight.

The first half we didn`t just equal them we did to them what they normally do to other teams , that`s why it is so bloody soul destroying to come out in the second half with no plan for them coming at us , as we ALL knew would happen .

No real plan was set for subs as i can see , who the hell makes a substitution on 87 minutes unless their winning ? . Yes i know he had the first half covered but the second was just like waiting for the inevitable , the bench was scarce but why put Carlos there if he was never going to be used ? .

Even if results go agianst us tomorrow, we're 2 points off 6th with a brand new manager who had us playing Liverpool off the park for 45 minutes with a a few of our best players missing. Fab's fine by me.
Great, but yet again, we didn't hold on to a lead ?
