Stockdale - 6 - unusually poor distribution. Little to do to be fair
Bruno - 6 - a very subdued performance. Saw little of the ball
Ridgewell - 5 - looked awful. Seemed to constantly lose his man. Everything came down our left. Better second half
Dunk - 7 - our best defender but got lucky after yet another sloppy second half error nearly gifted them a goal
Goldson - 6 - promising again but I think the goal was scored by his man
Stephens - 5 - little impact after his early knock
Kayal -7 - typically busy performance. Instrumental in the first goal
Knockeart -9 - grew in confidence, was easily the best player on the pitch and looks an incredible signing. Great crosses and a better dead ball option than what we've had since March got injured
Murphy -6 - faded after a bright start. Unlucky not to score when caught in two minds early on
Zamora - 7.5 - seemed to be the only player on the same wavelength as AK. Classy finish. Might be disappointed with some of his distribution. A Rohan ince'esque goal after initially clearing a corner. How did he get up the pitch that fast? I'm half expecting to see A moped on the replay
Hemed - 5 - the less said the better. Anonymous

Crofts - 6
Wilson - 7 - did well leading the line
Lua Lua - 7 - made things happen

Officials - 4 - missed a blatant handball by their keeper and an elbow/arm in the face.
Hughton - 7 - good changes, but why start with Hemed?

Stockdale 6 -- not much to do, one hairy moment, and distribution not quite up to his usual high standard
Bruno 7.5 -- class, again
Goldson 8 -- I like this centre back pairing and it doesn't deserve to be broken up
Dunk 8 -- back to his best
Ridgewell 5 -- targeted, should have done better for their goal, some bad decisions with the ball
Knockaert 8.5 MotM -- alongside Charlie Austin, the signing of the transfer window
Stephens 6 -- glad it was only a dead leg
Kayal 7 -- some great passages of play
Murphy 5.5 -- anonymous, until he played centrally, when he became very direct and caused more problems
Zamora 7 -- great finish but annoyingly got caught offside too many times when we had other rapid counter-attacks. Just before he scored, someone shouted "Go on Bobby, use your pace", which only went to make a brilliant goal all the more enjoyable
Hemed 6.5 -- some great touches, some poor ones

Subs:
Crofts 7 -- dependable half, nearly scored
Wilson 6.5 -- did well to crane his head backwards and put it on target; was too lightweight otherwise
KLL 7 -- welcome back

CH 9 -- strange that he starts two forwards that can hold up the ball, then takes them both off in quick succession but, in stark contrast to just about every other game this season, he made all three substitutions when there was still half an hour on the clock.

Ref 3 -- shocker

One last thing: the BBC are saying that Hudds had 62% possession. Does anyone else think that's too high?

Stockdale - 6. Not much to do. Distribution not up to his usually high standards
Bruno - 7.5. Defended very well. Less of a threat going forward but didn't need to do so much attacking given Knockaert in front of him
Goldson - 7. Very impressed. Calm and assured.
Dunk - 7. Played really well. Looks back to his best after a very strong game last week.
Ridgewell - 4. Dire. Very poor when one-on-one and constantly out of position. Sucked in to the middle the whole time leaving the winger free (happened with the goal and a few minutes before then when Wells could have scored).
Knockaert - 8.5. A brilliant first half. Slightly quieter second half but looked a threat whenever he got the ball. Think he will frustrate at times as he won't always make the right decision but thought he was excellent today.
Stephens - 5. Not up to it after he got the knock early on. Should have come off sooner. His man that scored the goal because Stephens struggled to keep up with him.
Kayal - 5.5. I thought he was poor given his usually very high standards. Gave the ball away far more than normal and think he struggled a bit physically (not sure if he was carrying a knock).
Murphy - 6. Looks a shadow of the player from earlier in the season. Tries hard but doesn't look that threatening and very lightweight. That said, looked better when playing through the middle.
Zamora - 7. Held the ball up well and worked hard. A great finish and a brilliant effort to start and finish the move for the goal.
Hemed - 6. Worked hard and caused the defence problems at times. Not getting into goalscoring positions though and doesn't threaten enough for the whole game.

Subs:
Crofts - 6. Tidy but never going to be a midfielder who creates for the front men.
Wilson - 7. Well taken goal and caused problems with his pace.
LuaLua - 7. Went down to 10 men purely down to his pace and direct play. Good to have him back.

Agree on the ref,.

Really did not see the oppo having 2/3rds of the game.

A few harsh ratings on here I believe.

And I do believe CH has a range of plans, which is refreshing.

Pretty much as I saw it, including the possession stat. Odd as it never felt like that. KLL was way sharper than I expected, bodes well.

Stockdale 7- did nothing wrong, i did poo my pants when he passed a ball to Dunk near the beginning of the game which nearly went to a Huddersfield striker.
Bruno 7.5- Without a doubt the best "football brain" on the pitch, going to be hard to replace.
Goldson 8- Solid, great on the ball.
Dunk 8- Solid, looking like back to his best.
Ridgewell 7- Can tell hes more of a centre back, pretty solid apart from when attacked with pace, is fairly slow.
Knockaert 8.5 MOM- Set up 2 goals, hit the post with a great free kick and generally caused havoc.
Stephens 6- Off day.
Kayal 6- Same as Stephens
Murphy 7- Still not back to hes best but we are not giving him the ball in one on one situations often.
Zamora 7- Great goal.
Hemed 6- Seems really low on confidence and looked pissed off when he went off. Seems to control the harder balls but then struggles with the easier ones. Worked hard as usual.

Crofts 7- Thought he did well when he came on.
Wilson 7- Good header for goal but still looks lightweight.
LuaLua 7- Looks a bit rusty but killed there defence for the sending off.

Stockdale - 6.5
Bruno - 6.5
Goldson - 6.5
Dunk - 6.5
Ridgewell - 6
Knockaert - 8 Great to see someone who can pick a player out when crossing, rather than playing into a general area
Stephens - 6
Kayal - 7
Murphy - 6
Hemed - 6
Zamora - 6.5 Some Manu-levels of offside awareness in that first half.

Crofts - 6
Wilson- 6
Lualua - 6 Quite a dramatic fall for the red card.

Stockdale 6 Impressive handling distribution a bit iffy
Bruno 7 Reliable defensively and got forward
Goldson 8 Good all round performance he is going to be a future star
Dunk 7. That is more like we expect abd know he can produce.
Ridgewell 5 Showed he is a CB playing out of position and exposed with 1 on 1 but the best fill in since Bong injury.
Knockhaert 9 MOM good all round performance exciting and 2 footed.
Stephens 5 Not up to his usual commanding standard perhaps the injury played a part.
Kayal 6. Some good tackling but caught in possession too often
Murphy 6 Better than recent performances byt needs a left back to play the balls to him.
Hemed 7 Tireless running for the team and the cause.
BZ 8 Good hold up play and goal but caught offside too often which he shoukdng bd with his experience as he should be able to time his runs better.

Subs

Crofts 6 Did fhe job expected but should have scored or at least got the shot on target.
Wilson 6 Came on and scored so did his job.
Lua Lua 6 Took players on but when the No2 got redcarded didnt try many runs at tgdir defenders.

The officials 3 very poor. Hope the assistant with red and yellow flag wasnt driving home as with his eye sight wouldnt see the cars in front of him

Stockdale - 6 - Distribution was poor but did everything else well.
Bruno - 7 - Class as per.
Goldson - 7.5 - Really starting to like this kid. Forget at the age of 23 he's stepped up two leagues and looks very comfortable.
Dunk - 7.5 - As others have said - back to his best. Just needs to stop having that one lapse of concentration every game and he'll be PL quality.
Ridgewell - 6 - Targeted for the whole of the first half. Their right back had acres of space every time. Will give him a few a couple more game before passing judgement mind you.
Knockeart - 9 - Different class.
Stephens - 7 - Gets some stick from a few people on here but IMO he's just as pivotal as Kayal.
Kayal - 7 - Solid.
Murphy - 6.5 - Looks short of confidence.
Zamora - 9 - <3
Hemed - 6 - He's got what it takes to be a quality striker but for some reason or another it just isn't working for him.

Stockdale 7 - Didn't really have a lot to do, poorer than usual distribution.

Bruno 7 - Solid game.
Ribgewell 7 - Solid game.

Goldson 8 - Really good performance, looks solid, composed and confident at this level.
Dunk 7 - A good performance from him today.

Kayak 7 - Usual solid game.
Stephens 6 - Started okay but faded throughout the First Half, probably because of the reasons he was taken off for the Second Half.
Knockaert 9 - Totally deserved MOM assists for both goals, just a really really good overall performance, (apart from his free kicks in the First Half).
Murphy 4 - hmm...

Hemed 4 - hmm...
Zamora 7 - Okay performance, but marked up one because of the well taken goal.

Wilson 7 - Okay performance, but marked up one because of the well taken goal.
Lua Lua 6 - Needed the pace from the start, but still looks off the pace himself.
Crofts 7 - Filled in well for Stephens.
