Despite Australian interests I think BHA and TB are transparent, unlike B. Robson , Tenement Ferguson and a few MU cronies who were referred to.
Shame on you all and if justice prevails, lifetime bands for all of you above.
Come on Lord Triesman, this is your finest hour. Act.
Oh, and don't forget Septic Bladder and all his bent cronies, and while you're at it, isn't holding the World Cup in Quatar as realistic as basing it in the Antarctic in mid winter.......

Another hidden effect of the Sky/Murdoch influence, currently hitting the headlines?

Pump HUGE amounts of money into English Premier League, with only a small proportion dribbling down to the Leagues below.

Makes it very expensive to buy directly into the top league, and a bargain price to buy into the league below.

There a much more modest further investment can greatly boost prospects of beating all the other minnows, and succeeding in crossing the step into the top league, with immediate mahoosive handout just for getting there.

That already gives huge boost to value of the club, making it easier, without even playing a match, to attract in further funds from investors.

It isn't a certainty, but there is a fair percentage chance that the motivated and raring to go team will just about succeed in scraping through the first year, and then a reasonable chance of being there a year or two later - time to sell out at10/15/20 times original investment.

Just download Channel4 programme to guide you with all further details needed to help you on your way!

The above could well save you 40 minutes of

1) grainy shots of Bryan Robson dribbling (salivating, not reinventing his game)
2) I-Pad product placement with SIR Alex hanging around with some wide boys
3) Crystakhbe Pj4ajg being mentioned as an afterthought as a team that could spin a profit nearly as well as Oxford if someone could only turn them around
4) other shit

It is high time the FA were taken to task by the government over the appalling state of our professional football clubs. They are supposed to be guardians of the game, yet are nothing of the sort. They can't even implement a "fit and proper" ownership test properly, yet have the front to whine at FIFA over corruption. It beggars belief.

And to think "Sir" Alex is a knight of the realm. He is a sewer rat.

That was hilarious when they said Palace were available to buy. Not what we've been told on here.

DKM

Our owners have always said that the club is available to buy if the right owner came forward and could prove they were able to take the club to a different level than that of CPFC2010. Although the present owners are wealthy people outside of football they are not prepared to risk throwing all there hard earned cash away on a unrealistic dream and instead they will run the club to a profit. That's why you won't see Palace going out and spending £3 million on one player. If the right player is available then the funds will be there for Dougie as proved when we signed KG from Fulham, our budget is competitve enough to have a decent season. Were also getting hold of some top quality free transfers ;-). But a lot of emphasis will also be to get the best out of our talented young players.

In the last month the board have come out and stated that they are enjoying the experiance more than they thought they would and are happy to be here for the long run. After the crap that we've been through this is great to here, we don't crave instant success as we know where that leads to if you don't get it. This is a 3-5 year plan, small steps to get to the one, ultimate goal.

The FA only started fussing about corruption when 'we' did not get the World Cup. They were quite happy to play along with Blatter et al when they thought that England had a chance...

Sounds wise. I didn't take it too seriously - they were billy-bullshitters.

It does sound strange though. Definitely out of character for the club in administration twice in ten years. And suggesting we are guilty of financial recklessness.

You realise that, as a result of our fantastic stadium with massive non- matchday income our income is at least three or four times that of Palace?

You realise Tony Bloom's been on our board for around 7 years and is making sure the club is run on a financially sustainable basis?
