Good article, though the point was made on here earlier about the real issue being to close the loopholes.

Agreed with the stuff on the BBC as well, they'll never please Murdoch/Daily Mail whatever they do, so they can afford to be a bit more aggressive.

I agree wholeheartedly with his premise that to demonise people for minimising the tax they pay is completely missing the point, especially with regards to Osbourne, when what people should be criticising is that he isn't removing these loopholes.

agree, and its a source of bewilderment that no one questions why Labour didnt do somthing about the issue in 13 years, when they and their supporters are the first to use this tax avoidance stick to beat people with.


This sort of carping, this demonising of wealth, is what makes progressive politics so unattractive.
