Read an interview with the teacher in the Mirror this morning. He just reached his breaking point of being tormented by ferals. He fully acknowledges his guilt. Which is why he pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and GBH with intent and pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of GBH. He holds his hands up to that one - tho IMHO he shouldn't even do that as the balance of his mind was patently disturbed. He never in a million years set off from home that day to try to kill a kid, he just wanted to try to teach them physics. The jury obviouisly acknowledged that and acted accordingly

now its all over it must be a huge weight off the kids mind

He was apparently an exemplerary teacher up to this point as many, including friends in the legal profession have testified on his behalf about him as a teacher/person. The less said about the boy's track record the better.

Again (to be clear) I don't support his actions but understand them totally.

It's EXEMPLARY. :dunce:
Now write it out 100 times or I'll beat your skull to a pulp with a chair leg
