The Swan might not be the best boozer in the world but it sure beats the concourses ... half time is too rammed to bother and I leave on the dot or before.

Bad fan/customer

Nothing any more, prices are now ridiculous, service is too slow and the final straw was towards the end of last season when queuing for 10 minutes only to be told there was no beer left, now correct me if I'm wrong but surely it's good customer service to either let people in the queue know there's no beer either by sign or speech rather than let them continue to queue.

Nothing.
The pies are totally overrated and everything else is grossly overpriced.
I buy a coffee and sometimes a sandwich from the lady by Falmer Station who makes a passable coffee.

Maybe £5-10 but last season we went to the Swan more often. Can see that happening again on good weather Saturdays.

Pint before kick off, pint at half time. Sometimes a couple on Dicks after. Also used to buy TSLR although i suppose that doesn't count as it's not 'official merchandise'

I worked out just for me about £650.00 per season.

New prices will up that another £50.00 if my maths is correct

Usually a pie and pint deal for me and soft drink and hot dog deal for my son on Saturday games. Might get a pint and a soft drink for evening games.

Might be Hikers and the chippy for Saturday games from now on.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised.

Would previously have a minimum of two pies and two pints per match (Personal record: three pies and five pints). I won't have nearly so much this season, if any, so at the new prices I'm going to be saving a minimum of £18 a match! (Less what I spend in other pubs before/after the game)

Only make about 6 home games a season but at least that away as well

Used to buy a pie, 2 pints and then either another pint or a hot drink. Sometimes something sweet wise. Probably £12-14

Now I don't buy anything as the prices have gone up and just feels like taking the piss even though it's a few pence I know (indicitive of high prces to start with). Drink elsewhere, bring a small treat for HT and occasionally bring a drink in. Average spend £1 as occasionally if bring a non football friend will get them a pie to try.

Edit - Away I tend to eat at least one item at a ground of two and have at least 3 drinks depending on how early arrive. Prices are better and I have more income to support these Championship rival's coffers since I save money now at the Amex because of ridiculous prices. Probably spend £12-18 depending how greedy am that day

Two people. Two seasons ago two pie pint deals and sweets. Last season two triple pie pint crisp deals and scratch card (on which I made a profit). This season depends on the price. For Southampton we parked in Lewes and had a couple of pints before catching the train in. Seeing the kiosk prices I'm glad we did. Will buy Saturday from kiosk in ground but depends on price whether we do it every game this season.
