Leeds - but not the dirty bit
I have no idea. My brother managed to get tickets via some means or other but they were in the wrong end !!! Never the less still enjoyed the game (first one anyway)

£5 standing for the first game and £4 standing for the second

The semi final was £3

I have these in a frame at home and actually looked last night.

£5 is £16.50 in today's money. So tickets around double in real terms...

My £65 ticket at the back of the lower and isn't really that much different from my view in '83, I was at the front of the upper tier which didn't start as high as it does now

I remember the replay ticket most vividly. It cost £4, but I had to buy it off another lad at school for £20.

I was 15, and even though this was my saved-up money and I was more than happy to part with it, it caused an unholy row with my mum. She didn't believe one kid should be touting to another, and although I could kind of see her point, there was no way I wasn't going.

I was working in the midlands and an Aston Villa STH got one for me from a lottery. £5.
It was good fun driving down the M6 towards Wembley with the blue and white scarf waving from my car in a sea of red and white.....

Replay ticket bought from touts. £25 - they wanted more but as I began walking away they relented.

In a frame on the back of the toilet door, £5. Along with replay, semi and Liverpool away tickets, and other football and non football tickets from over the years.

True but what did the seats cost in 83?

Technically we should be using those prices as a comparison.
