It just goes to show Palace weren't worthy of a place in the Prem. They can laugh all they like over their win over us but it just goes to show it was a fluke and the rest of the Prem know that. Oh and they can't seem to get a Prem size crowd together, shambles!!

Their current maximum total is 82 points. Given the mean for a 1st place finish is 85.61 points, the median is 87 and the mode is 89, it appears as if the premier league title is now off the table. Having said that, 80 was enough in 2001 and 2011, and 82 was enough in the first year there were 20 teams (96) so maybe not all hope is lost...

You: Anyone up for a bet? £200 to REMF if palace win five or more
A. N. Other poster: I'll take it
Palace: *wins five*
A. N. Other poster: *pays REMF*
REMF: *Gets a nice donation*
