Kuipers and the group that got the team promoted the first time round.

Kuipers gets a lot for someone who doesnt play

Yep certainly proved it by being top goal scorer and being one of the most dangerious players going forward.

Robinson has be rubbish all season

Last season our top scorer was a converted defender... this season, Leon has one more than CKR from far more games, and that "1" was from a penalty...

Leon is probably our best player. With a bit more support then what he's currently getting from the shower of shite who play behind him I'm pretty certain he get could 15-20 goals per season in this division.

Pure conjecture...

I just think we could do better for the money we are paying him...

That's my opinion... he just doesn't score often enough at this level... his ego appears to be vast... his attitude stinks... time to look elsewhere...

Ah, if in doubt fall back on the same old excuses.

The money we are paying him? It may he high by our standards, but who do you think we're gonna get that's better than Knight for the same money?

He scores more than anyone else, and sets up more than anyone else.

Whereas all Leon Knight can do is play well in the present.

???

And score 5 goals in half a season... and throw his toys out the pram every time he is substituted... and not support his team mates when he is dropped...

It is not my job to ID alternatives... all I can say is, it is not impossible... Jerome, Nugent... etc...

He does not setup more than anyone else... see above...

The money thing is not an excuse, it is true that he is paid a lot, and is delivering not enough on the pitch...

100% agree that El Turi is MM's biggest mistake... but that money is spent now... what chance do we have of offloading El Turi before his contract expires?... low to nil...

Cardiff pay MUCH more than us, take ALan Lee who we attempted to sign... couldn't afford him as his wages were way out of our league, a backup player at Cardiff. I imagine Preston do to.

Well that Football League site is CLEARLY wrong, it's got him down for 1 when he got two in one match and that's just off the top of my head. Not to mention the chances he's created like the Wolves and Ipswich ones mentioned earlier. Why don't you watch all our highlights from this season and count how many assists he ACTUALLY has? And how many other goals where he was involved in the move. Do it for last season as well. I wonder if then you'd say he's not doing it on the pitch?

Although you probably would, the truth doesn't seem much of an issue here.

Tell you what, if you have the time, you count the assists... as I said earlier, Leon has crossed the line too many times for me... I already said he is a good player... bottom-line is not what you or I think... it's what MM thinks that counts... I suspect he's had enough of Leon's tantrums too, and Leon will be packing his bags by the end of this season... I don't know, but that's what I think will happen... right now, I would rather stick with the pairing we had against Hull... a game we actually won BTW...

I was at Watford, and Leon was piss-poor... couldn't be arsed to contribute... he was also poor at Reading (although was playing on his own, to be fair)... at least you know Harty will give 100% to the cause, and his work ethic seemed to rub off on CKR too... IMHO, Leon was rightfully dropped for the Hull game, and should stay well and truly dropped... I kinow this is just my opinion, but those are the last 3 games, and that is how I see it...

Please do quote the "facts" when you have them, in the meantime, I reckon we are better off cutting our losses on Leon...

If it came to release Leon or sell Carole, I'd rather release Leon, otherwise I'm happy to go with what McGhee decides, not that I have a choice

In what situation would that choice ever conceivably arise?

Personally I'd rather keep all our good players.

I'll rephrase it then, keep Leon and sell Carole and that is a possible January scenario
