Would be happy if leon was released?

If the rumour was to become true (which i doubt it for obvious reasons) who would be happy about it?

depends who the money goes on,

Leon got us promotion to the CC but recent tempet tantrums mean he's not 100% commited to MM

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Actually I heard from a source close to the club that he HASNT been released.

Hypothetically I would be disapointed, the guy is useful and has made a decent contribution over the last few seasons.

It is time for him to leave, but who would we replace him with?

I heard McGhee was going on a scouting mission to Venezuela to check out a promising young striketr, apparently he has scored 50 goals this season in their 4th div.

Must be worth a punt:lolol:

There would be no money, the club would be poorer from releasing him.

two thoughts...

one I'd be happy only if ......
two as long as we replaced him with an out and out goal scorer!

IF we do release him another club would probably take over the remainder of his contract, therefore our "transfer fee" would be the money we save on his wages.

We don't have to release him, his contract expires at end of season... suggest we DON'T offer him a new one... technically, he is one of our best players, but... in terms of contribution, he is NOT... time to say bye bye... but we MUST get a replacement in, or the above argument is invalidated...

BTW... I can't imagine there will be many, if any, CCC clubs beating a path to our door for his services... not exactly prolific in this league, is he?... and he has obvious attitude problems...

Well, unless you count the fact that he is our leading scorer and asisster. Other than that his contribution is poor though. :jester:

At work - probably
I don't want to see him just released - he's far too much of an asset for that - but if we could exchange him for someone that would be a different matter. Leeds have got thousands of strikers can we swap him for someone there???

I wouldn't be happy but I would understand if there is to be a parting of the ways.

Knight has proved he's not a championship striker however I'd still be pleased if we kept him as there is no doubt he has bags of skill. If we could get some money or a swap for a player who could get more than 4 goals a season I wouldn't be overly dissapointed

He has 5, CKR has 4 from far fewer games... 5 in half a season is not exactly fantastic now, is it?...
