I would expect somewhere around 17 League goals with us out of the league cup already, maybe 1 in the FA CUP so a total of 18 would keep me happy.

If Gus puts a similar amount of effort into the FA Cup as he did the League Cup CMS is gonna struggle to find that 1 goal.

Better revise your guestimate back to 17 mate.

He needs to score at least 10 this season, i rate him more for his work rate than his finishing, if he was to bang in 15 it would be a great contribution for the team.

How many league goals does CMS need to score this season?

Im in the keep CMS camp, however there is no denying his goal tally last year was pretty average at best.

How many goals would he need to score this season for you to consider he has done alright?

To justify his fee? Considerably more than Barnes.

So if you score 14 in a season (Barnes) you are shit? If you score 15 you are commanding a £2.5m transfer fee.
Well done the collective mind of NSC, that really makes sense![/QUOTE

This is absoulte bollocks, you are looking for something that hasn't been said.

20 goals or his aquasition (tough word to spell dono if its right) was a failure. He only scored a handfull in his first season and to make up for it I expect my 20 goals this season. Oh and i know this is completely unrealistic, more than likely he'll score 12 in the league and il be happy with that because he's not our penalty taker and he doesnt recieve the service that he desires.

Going on how we finished and started this season, I'd set his target at 4.

Even then he'll need to be close on 100% success rate with the chances we'll crave out for him  :fishing:

15 to 20 would be very useful.

With Barnes scoring 15 to 20 as well, and the other team members scoring 40 between them, then we have a very good shot at getting to the play-offs.

Hopefully the first game was just a blip, and we will score in every match from now :clap2:
