Well, he’s hardly had time to do anything other than trying to get his withdrawal agreement though.
No, he hasn't done anything as leader yet. What he did in the cabinet was slag off May's deal and resign, so that he could become PM and then put forward a new deal which is worse than May's deal. If he'd been loyal, Brexit could actually have been done by now.

Oh, and everyone said there’s no way that the WA could be re-opened. It was.
Everyone? Of course it could be re-opened, as I said at the time.

Then there was no way he could renegotiate in time. He did,
Your assertion that there was no way he (or anyone else) could renegotiate is wrong. And it's pretty easy to renegotiate quickly when you go roughly with what had already been agreed, only a little worse for the UK and a little better for the EU. Boris was like the shop keeper haggling in the Life of Brian.

Then there was no way he could get a vote through in the HoC. Oh wait. He did.
Which vote? He didn't get Brexit through the HoC, which is why we're having this election.

There was no way we wouldn't leave by the 31st October. Oh wait. We didn't. And unlike your weird examples, that's something he promised, not some lies by the EU etc.

We’re all entitled to opinions
Indeed.
(and I happen to respect yours in general)
Easy now.
but I think Boris is much maligned and, IMO, there are many worse options than him in the past or currently..
Well I certainly agree there is one worse option currently. A full blown communist nutcase.

No, it is their manifesto. I could put up with Corbyn if their policies had been less communist.
Well that is kinda the same thing. As a person, I don't particular dislike Corbyn (and I've warmed to him even more since he's started wearing his glasses level). He's less duplicitous than Boris. I'd have no problem with Corbyn being leader if it wasn't for the fact that he's a mad communist nutter (with mad policies to match).

Pollsters are predictors of the future, bit harsh to say they're lying about a result they cannot know. Polling is no doubt a dark art that can create influence before an election; some will get it right through very accurate processes, others will get it right just like a stopped clock is right twice a day, others will be very wrong. I completely agree, voters may prove some of the pollsters completely accurate. We'll have to wait and see.

So, if you don't win.

Pollsters fault or the Tory media? Or a bit of both?

Which of their policies do you regard as communist? Only none of them appeared to be from when I looked through them.

I reckon the fairly recent phenomena of 'shy Tories' will come into play again and the exit poll will indicate an uplift for the Conservatives from that shown in the latest opinion polls.

Combined with the fact that Jezza doesn't really seem to have managed to cut through, I think Johnson will end up with a majority within the 50-60 range.

I wonder how many households in the Brighton area without some sort of political poster in their window vote Green/Labour.

Although it was 'shy Labour' in 2017, which is even more recent....

My feeling is that the election result always slides one way or t'other from the median presented in the polls, that a slight victory can quickly become a landslide as all the waverers coalesce the same way.

So I expect a Tory majority of upwards of 60 seats

If there's a healthy Conservative majority do our Labour supporting NSCers expect Corbyn to resign or do you think he would soldier on ?

How about state owned Broadband, Utilities, etc to start?

You mean like they do in those famously communist countries the United States, France and Norway?

Will be 75 at the next election.

This is his last chance saloon.

We already have state-owned utilities.

The only problem is it's France that owns them.

That is an extraordinary bimodal distribution. I am amazed how high the percentage of wishful thinkers is on NSC

Top thread crodonilson. Who's your new emoji? My guesses are:

A celebrity TV chef
A newsreader (possibly local)
That bloke from the Halifax advert
A young Sir Lenville Henry
Today's Lyme Regis Conservative and Unionist candidate

Unfortunately this post is useless without a poll.

Quote from Wikipedia: "ADSL became available to private consumers around late 2000. Depending on the provider, offered speeds range from 512/128 kbit/s to as high as 8/1 Mbit/s for ADSL, while ADSL2+ is slowly becoming available with speeds reaching up to 24/1.5 Mbit/s. Fiber is also almost in every city in Norway now speeds ranging from 2/2 Mbit/s up to 10000/10000 Mbit/s (the fastest available consumer line, only available in place with support for it). Prices vary constantly due to fierce competition between providers, but prices can be found as low as 195 NOK (US$30) per month for the most basic ADSL connections, while ADSL2+ is somewhat higher, starting around 499,-(NextGenTel) NOK (US$82) per month. This is in addition to DSL equipment rental and installation fees."

That's not what Labour is proposing. Labour is proposing a state-owned broadband with all costs paid out of taxes.

How about Lech Wałęsa or Pope John Paul II?

The Labour Party will then appoint a leader who is bona fide Labour, but who also has mass appeal. (a 20 plate Kia Starma for me)

An appointment that will be precisely 2 weeks to late to save the party and the country.

Well played lads, your incompetence and selfishness knows no bounds.
