A couple of days after the loan window shuts and the one injury we could do without.

Bong back in 7 weeks ??? Will Rosenior be back first ? ???

5 weeks until the January window opens, do we need a left back on day 1 ? ???

Could be back for Derby.

Guess or inside info? If this injury is bad would it be overreacting to suggest it could derail our season until a replacement can be found in January? Calde is a lovely bloke but he is not good enough to be LB for a table topping team...IMO.

He looked ok and Hughton sounded positive.
Every time we've suffered an injury, the replacement player has come in and done the job effectively. March (Kaz), Liam (Bong) and now Calde (Liam/Bong). I'll fear for him at Derby if he's needed, but he can do the business against the rest.

A mild MCL injury or grade one sprain should take 3 to 6 weeks to make a full recover.
A more severe grade 2 or grade 3 injury may take 8 to 12 weeks.

Suspect Calderon will start at left-back next week unless van La Parra trains there this week and could slot in, left-footed winger so an option.

I think it was a precautionary measure (to stretcher him off). Of course with no other left back there's no point in playing on at the risk of aggravating it.
