How hostile is Friday going to be?

The Millwall olayoff, I dont remember too much about the game apart from nearly breaking my arm when we scored the equaliser. But remember the home leg and that retarded 'wall skinhead getting led out around infront of the north stand. Dont know why that sticks out but it does. Went to the 'wall game earlier in the season though, and that actually seemed worse after that game. Palace on Friday will be passionate and hostile, but I doubt dangerous.
how ? we all got kept back , SB station had been cleared when we arrived ???

We didnt catch the train as I was stopping with a mate in Lewisham so we walked back - as tight arsed students - and felt a bit exposed. So I couldnt tell you what south bermondsy station was like tbh... Thats why it 'seemed worse' to me.

Millwall away still clear in the memory, home fans setting light to the terraces, all making a move to the away section, a very black atmosphere. After the game, and having been held back for ages, walking back to the car, behind a bobby, as we passed a pub on the other side of the road, bottles and glasses came flying over. Probably took longer to get back to the car, than the drive back to Brighton.

Will settle for the same aggregate result.

The game earlier in the season we got escorted to NCG Station and were coined by the youngest looking mob ever! There were a few Millwall about after the play off game at same station but no bother.

Neutrals talk of this being a somewhat mickey mouse 'derby' and are somewhat dismissive of it

My Liverpool supporting mate thinks we have a sh*t rivalry, last weekend he made the 500 mile round trip to see the Merseyside Derby. I hope he enjoyed it :lolol:

Me and my two mates split from the pack half way to ncg to head into lewisham, dont remember getting coined but there were certainly a few 'geezers' hanging around

That's not even a rivalry, they all sit and hold hands in that one.

I remember that night, I took my young son (a mistake as I was really worried for him). We were kept back for ages after the match and the raving Millwall fans we running up and down the terraces like maniacs... they made bonfires and screamed blue murder. It was terrifying coming out into the night amidst the loonies from the Den. BUT we got to Wembley! Anybody else there who remembers it?

I could not get a ticket so cause I lived in London I went up in person a was able to get Tickets for me and 3 neutrals and stood in the terrace along the length of the pitch, had to be good though !

Count me in also, its a game of football, if we win the over the two legs graet, if we don't we carry on with our lives. How can you hate people you don't know, reckon we should recognise all away supporters to the Amex as guests.

Palace fan here...I have to agree, whilst I love the rivalry, banter and bitterness that exists between our two clubs, I don't literally hate Brighton or your fans as that's just moronic. I'm actually glad you are a club on the up with a nice ground etc as that makes it more interesting...much better when you were a division below us playing at the Withdean pulling crowds of 4k. I am dreading the thought of losing to you boys, and work next tuesday will be utterly awful since I sit next to a Brighton fan. But that's what footbal is all about, take that away and football is pointless IMO. This semi final is what it's all about.
