Whether or not this thread was initially created or sustained by Palace trolling - it is healthy for Albion fans to question where the money comes from. There are numerous examples of clubs where fans did not question hard enough (Palace, Pompey etc).

We all assume the money comes from Bloom as he is the figurehead and does nothing to contradict that view but he has never proved the source of the money (which he is entitled to do).

I have aboslutely no evidence and no reason to believe the following is true - but it is possible that Bloom is not the only individual financing the club, but is just the public figurehead for the funds.

I don't question the fact of his wealth. I am satisfied that he proved it by funding the stadium. I would, though, be interested in knowing where it comes from. And I am as sure as you that most so-called "rich lists" are the work of only moderately talented journalists. But I don't share your apparent view that the Palace fans' input into this discussion has been nothing but trolling.

Hear, hear, LB. I positively enjoy reading contributions on NSC from other clubs' fans. Even, - no, especially - from Palace fans.

I think the fact we do keep NSC relatively open to other viewpoints - unlike so many other clubs' boards - for me somehow reflects our city's famously libertarian values, and shows other fans a touch of much-needed class.

It's hard to fathom why one or two NSC posters appear to need sheltering from football's harsh outside world. Why on earth be so thin-skinned, and risk missing out on what is often enjoyable and thought-provoking debate?

Now that, I agree with. There are many trolls, all over tha place, and while I like the banter and wind ups I dont think I am one of them - but you can decide if you wish. For the record am Palace season ticket holder for years - love the rivalry, love the chat, and if it gets abusive I couldnt care less - after all Im on a rivals board. Seems to all have got a bit abusive hasnt it ? I guess March 17th is fast approaching though... just interested how well you boys have done (financially) recently that is all.

i don't spend my life on boards like some people seem to, but when I dip in.. I'm pretty much ignored on QPR boards because no-one knows me.

Whereas here regs seem to interact pretty well with anyone and everyone.

Also the fact it's so busy means the twats on here are massively outnumbered by ordinary posters, whereas on the QPR boards, twats are pretty much all the regular posters!

What a very strange thread. I was finding it interesting until it got ruined, first by Titanic getting his knickers in a twist over the wording on a wikipedia post and then by Buzzer and TMLS going off on one at a Palace fan for no reason whatsoever. Compounded by the aforementioned Titanic defending the Palace fan he had previously been having a go at.
