aaaarrrrgggghhhh below 12th is failure

Look mate, you are CONTENT WITH BEING f***ing SHIT. That is OK for you but for me i want to support a GOOD team. I am stuck with this shower of shit now for the rest of my life and i'd prefer it if they won a few games every so often. If ANYTHING below 2nd is an EPIC failure.

Way out west
Once the full backs learn that you are supposed to stay out of the middle and mark the attacking wide players - all will become well again. Absolutely no chance of going down - have you seen some of the teams at the bottom?

very confident...Gus will sort them out and i can see a run to 6th round of cup to!!!! Have faith!!!!:clap::thumbsup:

How can you be confident of a cup run before you know who you're going to play? Surely before the draw any speculation of how far we can get is utterly futille?

Haven't voted in the poll as none of the options suit me, I'd be another quite confident. I'm pretty sure we'll do okay, but I don't want to fall into over-confidence like we seemed to last year until we really were staring relegation in the face. Were it not for Southampton being deducted points we would be in the bottom four and that is a worry. We have the personnel to get us to the top half, but we're certainly not 'too good to go down'.

My confidence comes from the fact that it is far far harder to find goal scorers than defenders. You would have to be a really shit manager not to be able to tweek this team with some decent loan signings, at worst, to shore up the defence. We are as good as, if not better than, 90% of the teams in this division going forward. I have no idea how good Gus is as a manager but I do not believe he will be as stupid as Slade, who completely ignored our defensive frailties by not getting in some experience and cover for McNulty. Imo Slade f***ed up big time not sorting the LB/RB problem and getting in an experienced defender within a couple of weeks of the season starting. I'm not sorry he's gone as in retrospect I think he would have taken us down.

Crap Town
At least 6 new players signed in January will see us finish mid-table or higher.
