the defense is OK on paper, but not working in practice. byt the time of the transfer window it will either be sorted or very clear we need an experienced CB/GK. either way it sould be sorted, so i think we'll come good on the back end of the season.

Even when Slade was in charge, I wasn't really worried about relegation - we weren't ever going to be far above he relegation scrap, but I thought even then we were looking at lower mid-table.

Of course, we were doing the usual Albion thing of getting a couple of decent results away from home, then blowing it at home against a team we should (at least on paper) have turned over - but I've got used to us doing that over the last fifty years!

No need to panic at the mo. - how many points did you expect to get from Southampton, Leeds, Norwich and Charlton? Well, we've got three already, which is possibly more than many of us expected. Also, I think GP has more tactical nous than RS (he certainly had in the Southampton match, where he distinguished himself by becoming the first Albion manager to know know how, when and why to make a successfull substitution since....oh, the Dark Ages at least!)

We may yet suffer from the appalling decision taken re: goalkeepers in the summer, though - that's my biggest worry (which is very annoying, because at the end of last season I thought that GK was the one position we DIDN'T have to worry about....................)

hinges on coaching the poorset defence we've had for over a decade. If we can get something resembling a defence untill January and then bring in some players then then i think there is enough time, persisting with shite and we could well be in trouble.

Quite worried. We have the ability to stay up, but we had this "we'll be alright" mentality last year and almost went down.

Not of all of us did, and this year we've made the required change much sooner.

Brighton factually.....
We will stay up easy, and i expect a late surge up the table in the second half of the season. However not getting into the play offs and i will be happy with that.......Building for next years fight with southampton for the first division championship

Quite confident.

Next season Gus will sell our shit raft of shithouse comedyfenders (c) Mendoza and replace them with some proper footballers. We are going to be toilet until we can defend.
He will also need to replace Forster.

As if ???

God what shook you up today

we are NOT going down i promise you

I cannot take it anymore. I cannot watch Adam El abd and that defence any longer. SO HELP ME GOD.

You cannot promise anything I can promise you that we will not get any decent players in January. It is the way. It always has been.

WE ARE FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far this season we have played 18 games and conceded 35 goals

If this carries on at this rate we will CONCEDE 90 goals this season:eek:

That will take us into League 2 without a problem
