Early days to pitch this - but what ideas could help bring the Stadium structure to the community, in a way that is more appealing to the locals?

Perhaps, say, a surrounding garden, with a design chosen by local residents.

Statues or art sculptures, including entries by local artists.

A hall within the structure, than may be used by the local community, at times when not clashing with other events or fixtures.


Yes yes, I know that many residents have been against the Falmer Stadium project, but to some extent this was always going to happen wherever it was planned for, and ultimately the locals are valued Brighton residents who should be catered for.
They will be the new neighbours - not necessary to kow-tow to every whim, but at least to accomodate to the project in some way or form.
