How can BHAFC help bring Falmer Stadium to the villagers?

Just far enough away from LDC
This is a benefit that I've been underlining on NSC ever since 'Falmer Stadium' was put forward as a venue.
It can be of great benefit to the University, in sports medicine, physiology, and human biology studies.

I'm glad the club have been reading my posts!

as i said on NSC yesterday, this is one of the key reasons why it has been the falmer stadium. Th uni of Brighton want to turn their falmer campus (and the links to the RSCH) into a leading centre for sports medicine. Very helpful with a sports stadium on site

It's a trunk road too, but I've not seen one elephant.

How about a 30ft high sculpture of the club's crest with the words "WE WON" emblazoned in 5ft red lettering accompanies by a statue of Martin Perry taking a slash on a mock up of Falmer Village pond?

Hell, I'd even chip in

Elephants used to be a major cause of traffic congestion in Brighton. Thankfully, the council sorted the problem. Falmer folk have nothing to worry about.

I wonder how quickly the attidude of the proprietors of the local farm shop would change if they were given a contract to supply fresh produce to the stadium caterers?

The comment that made me laugh from a resident on the radio. She said even if they couldn't hear noise from the stadium, people would still walk past her house whilst talking.

There are plenty of people in Falmer who are FOR the stadium too, although they are not as vocal as the NIMBYs.

To make the 'anti's' feel at home, why not try to enable to get a by-law passed so that the stadium could be used for weddings within one's own family.

Belgium leads the way in that kind of thing. Even LOOKS not that unlike Martin Perry

The bastards can start by accepting defeat before we start offering them olive branches. I'm not a vindictive person but I would struggle to want to even be civil to them and have no inclination to make them feel better about us being there. f*** 'em is my rather sad but heartfelt sentiment

I'd like to add my name to the "f*** 'em" brigade. And as for free tickets-they should be paying at least treble for any ticket. That is, if we want the whingeing bastards anywhere near our new home.

I've seen that little fella peeing cherry beer into glasses, for the benefit of passers by. I believe it was a Kriek beer promotion.

Very strange people the Belgians..
