Almost forgot why do people make the effort to go to a pre season friendly and then leave early ffs:angry::angry::angry:

Because it is a friendly.

There were a fair few people near me that were clearly going clubbing after the game, they probabily decided to hit the town slightly earlier than planned to get a few pre-club drinks. Way i look at it atleast the club got some gate money rather than them lot decided to miss the game altogether

Nice to see that Doug 'Lost' appears to have picked up 'Gully' as an official nickname, if H Block is anything to go by :D

Why is that nice? What the hell is the point of actually abusing players who are clearly giving 100%, regardless as to how good that is?! It didn't help Henderson did it?

There's one thing having a joke (that was mildly amusing the first ten times, is boring come then 10000th) on a message board, but laying into a player who's done nothing is just stupid. No wonder we can't attract competent players to our club if we're fickle enough to give a player stick just for coming off the bench!

Nobody was giving Loft any stick. It wasn't abusive or derogatory.

I think Fraser could also play in that position.

Good point... and he looked very good when he came on... that is his best position, and he has previously looked poor out on the right...

I've seen enough of Lynch to say he will be the next big pay day for the club.

Well, I hope that is a few seasons away yet... he is good, but it would be a big punt for a top club at this stage of his career...

Only saw the goals on TV but how the hell we expect to compete with that clown in goal is a mystery to me. What the hell was he doing for the goal they scored at the railway end. What a liability!!

If you had watched the whole game, you would have a different opinion... or, maybe not... you clearly have no idea... :bigwave:

Me too.

Kuipers did poorly for both goals.

How do you work that out... one player clean through... FDM had no chance...

Other goal... off balance from save, and Smertin catches it perfectly... FDM nearly got to it tho...

Kuipers stood still because he thought the player was offside (which he probably was) instead of playing to the whistle.

at home
Thought Kuipers looked what he is - a decent shop stopper - dreadful when trying to claim the ball

defensive 4 looked good

Cox drifted in and out but looked OK
Robinson the same
Hammond looked good in patches.
El Abd is a waste of space

Forster looked class
Revell looked good in patches.

Subd:

Elder - no thanks.
Baz - good touches - comedy value 10/10
Frazer - sharp but thats it.
Elphic - not enough time
Loft - waste of space

We must temper the above by the fact that we were playing two sides - nice fulham in the fiest half, who let us play and NASTY fulham in the second who were a million times better that us in every department.

I actually thought that Friday represented everything that has happened to us over the years - years ago we were a better side that Fulham - better players etc etc - they get a millionaire businessman who pumps a fortune into the club, rebuilds the ground and get a top notch couple of managers , Tigana and Coleman ( and Sanches) we on the other hand have not got a millionaire benefactor, no ground to speak of, players who would never make a premier side( let alone a Championship side) and managers plying their trade.

Still when Falmer decision is YES everything will change

:falmer::falmer::falmer::falmer::falmer:

Oh Yes ...and we still havent won at home since February!!!
