I was referring more to compulsory holiday pay, sick pay, work time directive, all the workers rights that UKIP want to get rid of. The Tories won't need much persuading to ditch these either if we are outside the EU.
I think you need to do some more research.
Such protection didn't help the 6m in the EU who have lost their jobs since 2008 and it won't help the millions in the EU (and UK) whose wages are falling and whose hard fought rights are being degraded.
In the UK zero hour contracts have increased exponentially in recent years and wages are continually falling, and it's worse in the EU. These are the economic facts. Countries that adopted the euro who need to be competitive in order to stimulate growth can only do so by cutting wages and costs associated with workers rights.
This is now, and it's a Tory wet dream. Only free market Tories will continue to justify it.
