Still in Brighton
I love a horror film front row at a cinema (as long as it's not empty) or watching at home with a girlfriend (find this quite romantic) or group of friends (This can be great fun).

Watching at home on me own though, all alone, nope, can't do it, I'm a woss.... The worst being your classic Exorcist ...or anything with a Ouija board in it.

A mate of mine is odd, he watches English language horrors with subtitles on, which takes all of the atmosphere out of it in my experience.

Always looking for horror recommendations. I've been told Autopsy of Jane Doe is a good one, I've yet to see.

West is BEST
Paranormal activity is one of about three or four films that have genuinely scared me.

I tried to watch Wolf Creek a few times and it is just too real.

The whole torture porn genre doesn't really do it for me. Love the ghosty/paranormal stuff myself.

Saw a good Aussie indie one last year called speak to me or possibly talk to me, anyway worth checking out.

Yeah. Good call. Wolf Creek is horrid.

As a child I was left quite traumatised after watching the 1941 horror flick "The Wolf Man" starring Leon Charney Jr. I found it deeply disturbing.
