Does anyone remember 'Trilogy of Terror'? It was on TV one Friday I think as long ago as the 70s. One of the stories had Karen Black being attacked by a little doll with a knife. Really freaked me out at the time.

There was a regular horror slot on Fridays and they also showed'Fright' with Ian Bannen as a psychopath and Susan George as babysitter which was pretty disturbing.

The is a film called Pig. The director allowed it to be shown once and then deleted it

1981 film The Appointment staring Edward Woodward. Walking through the woods, a girl is seized by an unseen malevolent force. The authorities erect an iron fence around the woods. Later, another girl and her family are affected by the same force, first in dreams and then in more real ways. When the first girl is seized that made me jump.

Ones I have watched:

[Rec] 2007 Spanish version - even worse when you find out that something in the film is an actor in real life.

Martyrs - terrifying French film about a cult.

Don't be afraid of the dark 1973 (not the remake) - those little hairy, walnut headed fuckers scared me stupid as a child!

Cannibal Holocaust - watched it as a child, grim...

Bone Tomahawk - starts out as a great Western film with Kurt Russell, soon ends up a big pile of Nope!

The thing (original)

The autopsy of Jane Doe - most of the film is 2 people in a room with a cadaver. It works... Trust me...

The borderlands - any religious/occult subject matters gets under my skin.

*Special mention* "Threads" - not a horror film, may as well be...

Films I haven't seen and have no desire to see:

Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom - I've heard its just depravity.

The human centipede (any of them, why? Just why?).

Antichrist - got 10 minutes in and stopped.

A Serbian film
