Home support not too impressed with Wilkins and Forster....(discuss)

As our best player this season Forster has done enough on the pitch to voice his concerns about the paucity of the home support. He works tirelessly for the team and has set up goals aswell as scored them. How he can come in for criticism on this thread is beyond belief. Amazingly I agree with British Bulldog about something, he does appeared to have touched a nerve.

Getting behind the team should be fun, and part of going to the game for all of us. If you turn up with the attitude, "go on then entertain me," then you are member of an audience consuming a leisure product, not a supporter who is an essential part of the matchday experience.

Sorry, but I for one won't be cheering aimless hoofs up the park or failures to pass a ball five yards to a team-mate. Bad fan THPP.

Worthing
And the team consistently serves up entertainment and quality-free football, all for an overpriced ticket. Tom has a perfectly valid point too. I'd agree that we don't need criticism from those who should be concentrating on doing their own jobs well.

Forster has done his job superbly this season in my opinion. So he`s concentrated pretty well up to now.
And apart from a couple of matches I`ve found it entertaining if not always top notch quality.

Absolute bollocks. People who pay £24 to sit in the shithole that is our ground to watch dire league one football "deserve" a lot better. To ask them to then sing and dance like a madman to "support" the team, when the team give nothing in return, is just taking the piss out of them.

Is there ever a post where you won't exaggerate? Who asked about dancing and singing like 'madmen'?

So what you're doing is advocating NOT singing and dancing (whether in a sane manner or like madmen) because you feel you're being taken the piss out of, irrespective of the fact that doing so actually HELPS the team? I assume the word 'symbiosis' passes you by.

People who go to away matches pay even more to get there, yet are capable of encouraging the team.

What you appear to be implying is that you want to be entertained first in order to play your part. The players, for instance, are doing their best (or rather, they are not TRYING to antagonise fans), even when it doesn't look as though the best is good enough. Can we, as fans - individually and collectively- honestly say we're doing our best?

"I've paid my £24, now f***ing entertain me..."
