Forster

1. Do not describe the club as a small family club that plays into the hand of the anti Falmer brigade

2.Do not say people up North are more supportive of clubs down South, how to make friends and influnce people by N.Forster

3. If you scored a goal more often than Haley's comet appears you may fire up the crowd

4. Do not be pleased with yourself as a striker after not scoring for 12 games

5. Wilkins - be happy 4500 people are prepared to turn uo regularly to watch the shite on offer

Maybe they have been misquoted, but if they haven't, Forster and Wilkins can go and f*** themselves.

The first point I agree with, the second point I don't. Because Forster is not getting the service he needs from the midfield, to score more goals. Before Xmas. when we had George and Hammond, he was feeding off these two for their services, and that what got him the goals. Now with our extremely lacking midfield Forster will not score because of this.

And the team consistently serves up entertainment and quality-free football, all for an overpriced ticket. Tom has a perfectly valid point too. I'd agree that we don't need criticism from those who should be concentrating on doing their own jobs well.

I take your point. Why should they Wilkins and Forster try to encourage an inspiring environment when we are so good at stifling the side? We wouldn't want them to express themselves would we? After all it's the players fault that we are paying £25 a ticket, the greedy beggars! Let's get on their backs for 90 minutes tomorrow and see if that helps bring back the quality and entertainment we so richly and desperately deserve. They won't hear a peep out of me until they are three nil up and playing like Brazil

He's the best player we have and if you think otherwise you need your head examined.

When it comes to Forster I'd say he is working damned hard on doing his job well, within the constraints he has to operate and the last thing he needs is people telling him he's crap, when he patently is not.

I see what you've done there, you scamp! Unfortunately though I'm far (so far as to make your response sound preposterous) from suggesting any of those things you imply I am. I didn't cast the first stone. I think they have a valiid point about the Withdean crowd. I just think that criticising those that pay their good money to see you play is perhaps not a great idea when you're so easily open to criticism.

I have NEVER actually booed or abused the Albion. And God knows they've tested me over the years. I understand it can't be helpful when so much whinging and negativity is about, but you make it sound as if we're the ones to blame for their bad form.

Did I say he was crap? He's clearly our best player. I'm merely saying that his criticsim is hard to swallow given the recent performances of the team and himself as a goalscorer.

Easy to have a pop at the dwindling numbers who actually went to the game. As opposed to the huge numbers that stayed away. How short-sighted is that? And no offense but for very large parts of the first eightly minutes, only a happy-clappy retard would have got wholeheartedly behind the team. It's a two-way thing. Applause has to be EARNT.

Happy-clappy retards, that's 4,000 of the crowd accounted for, but if you call whinging & booing getting behind the team....................

What a load of rubbish is being put on this thread Forster is the one jewell that we have and if DK bought in somebody to supply him with the balls for him to get the goals we would be looking at the playoffs.

So get off of his back and support him. If the other players put half as much effort into the game and hada quarter of his ability then we would be all enjoying ourselves with a large number of wins.

Maybe if Wilkins spent the first half on the bench and kicked out his fat worthless cronies?

Maybe if Forster proved he could lead the line without the dubious skills of Comedy Bas?

Don't need any lectures from these people cheers.

Maybe lecture the hundred odd thousand catchment area of Brighton & Hove that DON'T turn out for a puerile nnety minutes worth of 'entertainment' in exchange for twenty five quid (aka half a days work on minimum wage) of our hard-earned UK currency.

Or maybe keep your gobs shut?

Looks like Wilkins and Forster have hit a few raw nerves! Ah well it's allways been said the truth hurts occasionaly.

Not true Kev. Check the stats for assists and you'll find it was Bas who mostly supplied Forster, which would go a long way to explaining why Forster hasn't scored since Bas left.

Voice of sense at last Yorkie...I think Savage is a fool to have left when doing so well and it's clear that most clubs won't now touch him with a barge pole. However, You can't ignore the fact that he was instrumental in helping the club get points during the first half of the season.

I don't think Bas was receiving a roll out from Kuipers , running the length of the field & rolling it for Forster to tap in though. Surely Hammond & GoC where Supplying Bas as Well.

Why should the crowd make up for the player's deficiencies? If you want to improve as a team learn to pass the bloody ball, not rely on the crown to make a noise. Me cheering wont stop you making a stray pass or hoofing the ball....... practise might.
