Guess Poyet wants to see him in a few games once promotion and the title are wrapped up

As long as he's the 2nd striker in a 4-4-2 and not wide or played as a lone striker, he deserves a chance in his best position

This is good news. Holroyd needs a proper chance I think in his favourite system, as he did very well at Stevenage and did score in one of very few games for Bury. He also scored his first goal for us ever in the SSC which can only mean good things!

After promotion is sealed on Tuesday with a win, and with southampton losing to Rochdale, and sealing the title away at Walsall...the fringe team will play Southampton with Holroyd scoring the winner?

Correct. As barely actually been given a game in his correct position. First game he was given this chance, he got Man of the Match.

I believe Gus will play him upfront against Southampton and Huddersfield to really take the piss out of them, it's the equivalent of boxing blindfolded

Personally, I wouldn't like to play any of the players that are going to be released at the end of the season like Holroyd in the final home games, it would be nice to stay unbeaten at Withdean.

This. Or away games as I'd like us to break as many records as we can this season.

Maybe Gus wants to see which of his strikers are up to it once promotion is secured. I'm probably reading too much into this but I'm a bit worried that we won't see Glenn Murray in an Albion shirt again after Tuesday night. :(
