Holloway Tonight

You had to laugh at his comment after the Blackburn game that the shove on Murray at the end was "the most blatant penalty you've ever seen". It quite clearly wasn't - not even convinced it was a foul. How can anyone take him seriously?

The most blatant penalty you've ever seen was Greer's shove on Murray. Even I had to admit that was a pen - however the first was a clear dive the cheating ****.

It wouldn't surprise me. He blamed change of manager for blip in form. Virtually said Holloway benefited from the run Dougie was on and that the players had to adapt to the new methods when the run came to an end.
Difficult to argue with that.

He ****ing loves Gus is why..he's stalking him, hanging around in Gus's favourite tapas bars and Uruguayan nightspots. He wants to bum Gus. He loves him and wants to have his babies out of his bottom.
Thanks for that, I didn't want to sleep tonight anyway.
WTF have you got in mind? Are you going to re-enact the scene with a housemate/relative?

when he was appointed my palace supporting mate was absolutely overjoyed...to the point of gloating

i probably sounded bitter at the time when i described him as an "overrated media whore" but in the grand scheme of things i reckon i'm right

when you look at some of the other utterly mediocre managers who have achieved promotion from this league.......phil brown, aidy boothroyd, nigel worthington etc. it clearly isn't an absolute indicator of managerial ability, so take that one season out of holloways CV and it really is pretty mediocre isn't it?

one of those managers who "says funny things" in interviews which seems to allow him to get away with being not that great

Right now Palarse fans aren't finding his interview "wit" particularly amusing!

Holloway's success is mostly based on the fact he was able to sign Charlie Adam cheaply due to Rangers financial woes.

Holloway used to be entertaining but he has turned into a bellend of some note now.

At least The Nigels have the satisfaction of knowing Olly's apparently gonna turn them into Barca. Just don't tell 'em it's in some far-flung corner of his addled mind... :)

Maybe that was it. I used to like him although didn't really know why. Now I loathe him and I do know why!!
I used to find him funny, then he joined Palace and I started to hate him. Now I adore him. Legend

But we do :)

What was the conclusion in the end about why Freedman left?
Bolton offered more money and a better budget for the team.

Terrible terrible decision by CPFC2010. I appreciate they have bills to pay, but they could have offered him something - he wouldn't have been difficult to hold on to, he's a Palace man. They could have gone up automatically.
