Swindon, but used to be Manila
I took the top off my water bottle yesterday before I entered the ground.......the guy searching me said the bottle had to be sealed....no problem I said and got the bottle top out of my pocket......no he said it has to be an unopened bottle with a top that is connected to the bottle....!!!!!

Left the bottle on their table........should all clubs not be singing off the same hymn sheet ? Oh I could have taken the bottle in if I needed to take medication....

At the end of my tether
I lived in Leicestershire for a number of years , worked in the city. The locals all seemed committed to their club with few plastics for Man U or ‘Pool. The guys I knew were decent enough although,at the condescending/sneering at our then lowly position.
Throwing bottles is bad.... I do remember a pretty mad and vocal lot behind the goal neer to the away supporters area . I guess it’s from there that it came. Thank God you were not badly hurt . I hope they can catch the b******.

At the final whistle I received a big 'thump' at the top of my right arm , which I felt for a good few hours after. A 3/4 filled plastic bottle had hit me ( still had bottle top on). If it had been 6 inches higher it would have hit the side of my head with more serious consequences. It could equally have hit one of the children that were around. Pretty sure the bottle originated from Leicester fans (i was on the right side of ours) but to be fair if it was a Brighton fan I would hope he/she was caught.

Ok not the bricks or darts of the 70s but we (most of us) have moved on. I will be writing directly to LCFC and copying in BHAFC. I assume they have enough CCTV to pick this out.

Anything else I should be doing?
I’m glad you didn’t bottle it up and talked about the incident 👍

My worry was the 'bounce' in the stand. When we were bouncing the stand was moving. Was a bit scary.
Plus reasons NOT to have a drum and goal music.
Drum didn't work and anyone near it must have left with a headache.
Goal music, I noticed it took 20+ seconds at which point all the fans sang, but how embarrising had it been chalked off.
Reminds me of the old delapidated portable south stand at Withdean, everytime you stamped your feet it felt like a minor rarth tremor was building up beneath you.

Met a few Leicester fans in the pub pre match and they were articulate, friendly and good company.

There are idiots everywhere, a contingent of our DDO brigade were chanting derivative unimaginative bollocks yesterday and some of our fans were brilliant.
