I was referring to Vicente but only on the fact that their best days were before 2004 - no other comparison.

As for Ash, I agree that he would be more likely to score, but his role in the side is completely different - no comparison to be made.

I think Heskey would bring CMS, Buckley, KLL into play more - and that would only be a good thing...

I would agree with all of your points, I just don't think Heskey is the man to do it. As said before, Carew does virtually the same job but can actually score and put a cross in.
