I compare him to other older forwards who did the business in the Championship, particularly Teddy Sheringham and Dean Windass. He isn't close to their standard.
Thing about those two is that they changed the way they played as they aged. As the athleticism slowly departed, experience and guile took over and they evolved to maintain their reputation as dangerous players to confront.
Take a look at Heskey. He hasn't changed a bit in over a decade. The approach remains physical and dependent on athletic ability, ability that is passing away every season.
Let Leicester have him. They seem to have a fixation on players living off the fumes of reputations either well-past their sell-by date or severely over-inflated.
