Looking forward to the game, will be a tough one for us and we try and stay in the division.
Safe travels to those coming up, any questions feel free to leave on here.
Thanks for doing 'The Participants' 4-0 :)
Should be a breeze for you tractors,... we can only select from the elderly and infirm,... and actually, our elderly are often infirm too.

I think your a very decent side, and think you’ll stay up, you play nice football and have some great quality in the squad. I’m a bit stumped on who you’ll stay up instead of however. I think you’ll finish above, Southampton and Leicester, but who do you think will be the third team if you do indeed stay up?

And that’s the awkward question. I agree that Ipswich look like a decent enough side at last but you’d fancy West Ham, Wolves and Everton to survive under their new managers, leaving only Palace — but they too have started picking up points. For that reason it’s getting harder to see Ipswich wriggling out of it. There’s always the possibility of PSR sanctions hitting someone but that’s not something Ipswich will want to rely on.

I think we all know who we'd like it to be.....

Or maybe I'm wrong....

I'm not sure about that. The Moyes of 2025 is not the Moyes of 20 years ago, he just won't have the same hunger to succeed. And Everton are a much poorer team now than they were then. I think the third relegation slot is between Ipswich and them (although I wouldn't rule Wolves entirely out of it, unlikely but not impossible).

Ha ha well spotted :)
The name Mark Walton sends shivers down the spine in these parts. Not one of our finer keepers over the years.

“FREEEE HEADAHHHH, FREE HEADAHHHH”

Defender takes their time to head away, gets beaten in the air and they score.

Or the classic at Withdean when he belted the ball at Paul Watson’s arse from a backpass and it bounced over his head into the net for a comedy own goal.

Quite liked old Mark though, proper League Two level keeper and his booming, thick Welsh accent used to provide much mirth in Block H shortly before we conceded again.

You have several useful contributions already but here’s a question for you. I have an early flight out of Stansted and can go back to Liverpool Street and out again very early or take the ‘interesting’ choice of a National Express coach from Quadling Street?? at 2.30am which goes direct to Stansted - that’s quite a bit cheaper but is anything open in Ipswich after 11.30ish??
will let you know

Hi @Ooh it’s a corner - Distilled Republik will be open after the game until 01:30am Friday.
It's a 10 min walk from there to Quadling Street.

Quick question - main car park by the away end. Aiming to get to Ipswich early PM but what is it like to get out after the game? Is it super slow?
It will be a nightmare post-game mate and is overpriced as well, it's been recently been hiked up.
Might be worth parking further away and walking in - 10 minutes if you can manage it - as would aide you getting away quicker afterwards.
Most of the parking restrictions on streets finish 18:00pm midweek - aim for Constitution Hill and the streets around it.
Couple of good pubs round there.

Ah, I would but it doesn’t include travel, that and I’d be infuriated as I bet folks still leave on 85 mins
I think they should pay for my travel.
