What a load of bollocks, of course Gus knew before the BBC, there's no way TB and PB would allow that to happen!

They obviously have.

It doesn't matter if its true or not , the timing of the statement knowing he is live on TV was always going to create some kind of reaction. It does not reflect well on the club

A ducking disgrace more like. Shame on the club, that's appalling. I'm embarrassed. And new admiration for him staying on as a pundit. We look very very bad in the eyes of the footballing world right now.

I actually felt sorry for him . Really bad, or calculated , from the club .

Did anyone else watch this on BBC3? I'm sure he hinted that his lawyers knew but I can't remember the exact phrasing. Didn't he say that his lawyers were reading through e-mails earlier in the day?

Whatever the facts are Gus is royally doing one with the reputation of the BHAFC board and if there is any truth in it rightly so.

There is no way on earth that any football club today would not let him or his representatives know before they announced it, utter bullshit from Gus!

Think he is possibly telling some porkies there, hit whoever at the club thought it would work out any other way is an idiot.

Woah guys, GP is ON NATIONAL TV and says "He wasn't told". He has had representatives working for him, they would have been told the outcome as pre-agreed and would have said he's unavailable and it looks great from their point of view.

Mmmm I find it hard to believe that Gus didnt know before going on BBC that he had been sacked. I mean what sort of company tells the whole world that they've sacked someone before actually telling that person first?

He will have been told at the end of the meeting, it's just Gus playing the victim, he's hardly likely to say "yeah I got the gooner today, and it's fair enough, guilty as charged".
It's his way of saving face, and keeping other clubs interested in him.

Absolutely this...who releases statements on a Sunday evening...poor show from the club. I felt uncomfortable and rubbish seeing Gus interviewed like that. Embarrassing for me god knows how Gus was feeling...
