HD-TV is is really that good?

Footy will look great as long as it's good enough to handle the movement. Some LCD's blur the ball. They are dimply just not as good as CRT TV's yet.

Well that's ok then as I know Xbox 360 is.. and more importantly Playstation 3 will be as well as Blu-Ray of course.

Would it not be one of those things you buy and after a few days your eyes adjust to the new quality of the screen and wonder why the hell you spent the money?

Picture quality is good enough anyway.

I bet there were people who said that when colour telly first came out.
