Only decent hit was the last round wobble, the rest was like Celebrity Come Dancing. Good tactics, not an exciting fight. Looks like Haye could do well if he can keep that focus!

I guess I'm the only one who feels sorry for the Ruskie. Haye was frankly an arsehole about him leading up to the fight, with very personal attacks on his appearance etc. while Valuev maintained a dignified silence, refusing to get involved. Still at least he can retire to St Petersburg with a few million in the bank.

The main reason Valuev didn't get involved with the verbals is that he only speaks a few broken words of English. Haye was doing what so many others (including Brighton's own Crith Eubank) have done to sell tickets.

Hopefully Haye's charisma will be the shot in the arm the heavyweight division has needed for so, so long.
