Staring at the rude boys
I had my prostate checked and the doctor said "It's not uncommon to get an erection during this process". I said "I haven't got an erection" and he replied, "I have".
I get up three or four times a night. So much so I have a pee bottle by my bed. I've done that since my 30s.I'm 67. I have to get up for a wee without fail every night, at 2 am, 4 am, and 6 am. Had all the prostate tests and told all is well. Perhaps it's just getting old?
Is that kind of like a sheep dip?A very simple urine dip at the GP will confirm immediately whether there is high levels of glucose in you wee and if not, discounts diabetes as the reason for you 3am pee.
Had mine checked, found out i had early stages prostate cancer, undergoing treatment now... get you're self checked fellas.I'm 67. I have to get up for a wee without fail every night, at 2 am, 4 am, and 6 am. Had all the prostate tests and told all is well. Perhaps it's just getting old?
Bit unkind to be peeing on the sheep...
Ditto for my elderly dog!my elderly dog thinks its compulsory at 11, 1, 330 and 5, so you're not alone!

Appointment now booked, thank youGet your prostate checked!
A consultant has told me that we generate a protein that suppresses pee at night. This can fail to be produced in older age and result in peeing several times a night. There is a drug to sort it. Some small children take it to avoid bed wetting. See your gp.I'm 67. I have to get up for a wee without fail every night, at 2 am, 4 am, and 6 am. Had all the prostate tests and told all is well. Yes, detrusitol but you don't want to take that long term.A consultant has told me that we generate a protein that suppresses pee at night. I Am type 2 and have been for 15 years, im on a tablet that makes you pee more....( to flush out the system) normal times at night 00:15 +- 15 min, 0300 and 0500..In no way is this an attempt at a diagnosis, but maybe something that will help encourage you to go see your doctor ASAP.
When I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes over 30 years ago one of the key indicators was night time peeing. I was 30 at the time so age was not a reason for it.
When your blood sugar runs high (diabetes) your body attempts to flush out the excess glucose in your blood. Doing this dehydrates the body, makes you feel thirsty, so you drink more and thus, pee more.

Guttering around the side of the bed, down pipe down the stairs to the downstairs loo. Just roll over and flop the old boy in that.Is it compulsory ?!
I didn’t have a drink of any fluids from midday yesterday as a test to my bodies 3am wee compulsion. And it did not help a jot ! I’m now considering purchasing a sauna and doing 30mins just before bed to try and get me through to the 6.30am alarm call
