I wouldn’t mind seeing some proof of his disability. He mentions it every other post and keeps offering to show proof.

I’m not asking him for it. But if he’s offering to show it. Yeah, why not?

Regardless of your disability, it's currently difficult to believe you are posting on NSC (generally, not just this thread) in entirely good faith.

We don't have any rules, really. I guess the overarching thing is, like with the Albion, don't be a dickhead. You may wish to consider which side of that particular line you seem to be on.
I'm not being a dickhead just posting with a disability, so if some people interpret It in that way they don't understand the neurodiverse and I'd like to think in 2024 it's all out there now for those that love to read.
I am happy to prove my dyslexia to you?

It may help you realise there is no fakeness to Ronnie.

I find it unbelievably you'd even challenged someone on it, I hope you don't go pulling people out of wheelchairs as your day job.
I wish someone would pull me out of my wheelchair on days I need to use one - it’s a bloody effort to get up out of it sometimes 😂

Edit; not getting involved further.

Good luck .

Every sympathy. My lower back has been on form today and I'm walking at 45 degrees.

Brighton factually.....
Do you call openly questioning a disability acceptable?
Yeah to be honest, why not, I was told to question everything.
despite my openness in sharing it?
would you like a cookie.
Most wouldn't have the bollocks to have admitted it.
Many do on here to be honest, including myself.
Where have I complained about snowflakes?
not sure about that.
If people call you as a liar regarding a sensitive issue such as a disability, would you keep taking it?
I would not give too shiny shites, if people believe me or not, I know me, myself and I are fine.
Especially when the last person to do it was a moderator.
We are all human and allowed to question anything and everything, this is not North Korea.
Standards, standards, standards.
You set yourself.

It's a common theme on here. Soon as certain posters gets called out on a post, they immediately play the card of that thing they may or may not have got. Not a good look either way

I can‘t speak for RBR‘s integrity/good or bad faith and you know I am the last person to be judging anyone who pisses NSC members and Mods off 😀

BUT people with neurodivergence do struggle to understand nuance, certain types of humour or read people and do so to widely varying degrees, especially on social media where the F2F clues are absent. Their way of expressing thenselves are also often misunderstood or misinterpreted.

If people have misunderstood others because of that and caused upset, it is perfectly legitimate in fact necessary for genuinely autistic people to attribute that to their symptoms where they’ve had an impact, not as an excuse but an explanation.

Also contrary to popular opinion, no neurodivergent person has the same symptoms - it is a mistake to assume we are a homogenous group who all react and behave in the same way - I think some autistic people themselves fall into this trap when they start comparing themselves to other autistic people.

The important thing is we try and treat people kindly (I know that’s not always easy) and not use them as a punch bag if we ourselves are struggling in life for whatever reason.

Edit - and it’s not for non-divergent people to judge how autistic people experience their autism nor to what extent their symptoms impact their communication skills - comprehension takes place in the mind.

Isn't it funny how certain folks will complain about a generation of sensitive woke snowflakes, but the moment anyone pushes back on their utter bollocks, for instance by limiting their ability to post on one single thread, on one single (privately run) internet forum, they throw a tantrum.
Worse they put others on ‘ignore’ which reduces their ability to contribute. Hypocrisy of the highest order … par for the course really.

Does that apply to people with Dyslexia? TBH, I didn't think it did, but definitely not an expert!
