Have we gone backwards as a football team in the last 12 months?

People have to take this game in context. I for one, have come to one conclusion; we play the same way against every team. Not just the same philosophy, but actually the same style of game against every single team, whether it be Liverpool or Wrexham. Against very good teams, we look assured, confident and professional. Against lower teams, we look totally inept. I'm not arguing that this should be the case, but with the players we have and in our first season in the Championship, it seems to be that way. Dependent on where we finish, hopefully Gus will see this in the forthcoming seasons and build us into a team who can adapt and adjust. Let's not forget we beat Southampton and Bristol comprehensively.

Taking the few positives from the game, Brezovan was incredible. I still am waiting for his first mistake to come, but so far he has been simply outstanding. Buckley was the best player on the pitch, apart from a lack of a final product. CMS' penalty was golden, but I severely worry about how he feels about playing for us - if we can't provide him with service against a non-league team, then we seriously have to get him goals in the very near future i.e. against 'Boro. Ever since I saw his body language at the lack of service against Watford, I've worried about how he feels about Brighton, and I worry more and more every game that goes by without a goal for him.

Fc United? Woking? last year we struggled against non league sides in the cup, its not a big deal it was their cup final tonight on a bad pitch job done! Look at Crawley at Old Trafford last year. Its what teh FA cup is all about ffs!

Not gonna bother reading past page 1. Luckily I hit upon this nugget of truth from BHAWise. A terrible game, yes. But we are through so who gives a f*ck.
