"Though Harry has done a fantastic job the current situation could not continue, he's done a great job but this great club must now move on - From PG"

Shows how thick these Pompey scumbags are. Point one - you're not a great club, you are fu*&king s*&t. Point two, when you do move on you're going down.

And I can't wait for that day

Harry Redknapp has resigned as manager of Portsmouth.
His assistant Jim Smith has also left the club in the wake of the pair's row with chairman Milan Mandaric over the appointment of Velimir Zajec.

Zajec was brought in by Mandaric as director of football and will now take over first-team affairs until Redknapp's replacement is found.

More to follow.

He does seem to walk before things go downhill. Not sure about Bournemouth but West Ham were doing pretty well when he quit and so are Pompey.

Be interesting to know what sort of mega wage structure he's left behind him or is it just my imagination that he seems to get the biggest and oldest squads in the division together and then moan about how he's down to bare bones as the old timers can't hack more than a few games without breaking down?

I dont think that is the case this time, he was genuinely concerned about being squeezed out recently stating his dismay should he have to leave because of this.

Good job for Mikey this one, but it looks like Zajec will take over.

He sounds like some Yugoslavian war criminal though :lolol:

I think it is a good long term move. Harry appears to manage for the moment, and Mandaric wants to put a long term strategy in place.

It does increase the chances they'll go down, so it is a high risk strategy.

Unbelievable, a total farce, but no less than the Pompey fans deserve

:lolol:

I'm sure Simster's out there somewhere with a huge grin on his face.

If they have then Mandaric is a twat. As much as it painsme, Redknapp was doing a decent job down there before he started sticking his oar in.

to be fair to Mandaric Pompey wouldn't be where they are without him, and I imagine he is maybe fed up with the amount of his money that is going into agents pockets due to Harry's transfer activities.
