He's a key player and has been doing a splendid job, even catching the eye for possible player of the season votes.

I didn't thing Whing played that well today.Although he got some very important tackles in his marking was slack. Their left winger had acres of space for the entire 2nd half (or was he lofts man?).Wouldn't rate him more than a 6 even before the sending off.

I thought the sending off, while silly, was rather over the top from the ref. Whing punched the ball is anger - I don't think he had any intention of it going anywhere.

I too can't understand this. He let us, himself and the team down. He has been great this season and I voted for him as my player of the year, but today was about as stupid a red card as you will see. At such an important time in the season too.
