If that is really happening then yes, it is not random. The chance of red coming up 15 times in a row is over 32,000-1 and 20 times in a row is over a million to 1.

The chances are the same as any other combination of red and black. We like to see patterns so in our mind 15 reds in a row is more unlikely than a random pattern of reds and blacks but in reality each roll of the ball is a fresh start and each time it is just as likely to land on a red or a black.

Greyhounds is probably best place to use it as you only (generally) have 6 runners. Keep backing trap 1 until it wins doubling stake every time.

However, even if you start with really small stakes, its a bit like the ears of corn on a chessboard, it gets expensive very quickly. And then when trap 1 eventually wins at odds on, you are stuffed anyway. As someone else said earlier..."it works until it doesn't"!

If there was a simple mathematical way to make money everybody would be at it. That would be why Mr Chairman's betting operation is so secret and in permanent lockdown!

Most online roulette nowadays is "live" in that they are set in a studio with a croupier, presumably somewhere with cheap labour - I always imagine they are in Eastern Europe. The rooms and wheels are sometimes shared between different sites and with numerous live players. They're not fixed.

The programmatic "pretend" roulettes use random number generators from software that is audited for compliance.

One word of warning though, if you have an addictive personality (as I have) you do have to be on your guard. Like Bozza, I've jizzed too much money on crap bets, only to then rely on matched betting to dig me out of that debt. The people on here talking about making £8-9k a year are doing so by being very disciplined, never switching from matched betting to actual gambling, and never trying to be a smart arse by trying to reduce qualifying losses by various gambling means.

I've seen 7 blacks come up before and that does feel like it may as well be 15-20, but the odds of it happening are within the realms of realistic probability - 128/1 I think. I suspect you probably haven't seen 15-20 reds in a row even if you think you have!

Use it but use something to stack the odds more in your favour I use it in live roulette at a casino and earn using a simple but time consuming system. I’ve seen long runs of each colour quite often the roulette wheel has no memory. I would never play any form of electronic gaming as it could easily be rigged in the software and probably is.

I've never done that. I used to bet quite big and lost money doing so, but it was way before my matched betting days, and I simply stopped betting completely recognising I could be on the path to becoming a problem gambler.

I'll confess to having had a few small dabbles out of my matched betting winnings, but only to relatively small stakes and a tiny fraction of the money I'd won through matched betting.

Get your accounts opened, and opening offers all done well before March 12th though - the Cheltenham festival is a splendid source of an absolute ton of cash. The World Cup last year was similarly rich pickings last year, but obviously that's not on this year.

Yep. Played with it with tiny stakes on online roulette. In the end got flushed out by 7 reds in a row. It don't work otherwise everyone would do it surely.

The bread and butter is what you have probably done with those two...

1. Place a back bet with a bookie.
2. Place a corresponding lay bet with an exchange, taking a small loss.
3. Receive a free bet that you turn into guaranteed cash by doing another back/lay at likely longer odds.

Sometimes you do the initial back/lay in the hope of triggering a free bet, as opposed to one being guaranteed.

What you'll find is that you have a pot of money that basically gets swirled around between different bookies and exchange(s) and the size of that pot will gradually grow.
