Leave it til Sept. I'm going to appeal because I like bats.

My bottle of Roederer (alas not Cristal) is in the Fridge. Should I open tonight or wait until September 4?

stick to your Roederer. Cristal is for blinged up gangsta rappers and premership football players with loads of money but no class. Cole, Dyer, Ferdinand etc etc etc

Thank you Buzzer. Must say I have never had a sip of Cristal. Last time I saw a bottle in Calais it was about £80. My "ordinary" Roederer cost me £23. It will have to do but I still cannot make my mind up whether tonight is the night!

Well I have a bottle of champagne at the back of the press ready to go on ice but I'm going out to a meeting tonight so I will have a modest drink or ten and save the champers for the 4th September.

:drink::whisky::cheers:

I have listened to Martin Perry on BBC SCR and he says no Champers until we know that there are no objections by the September 3 deadline. I shall keep the Roederers on ice 'til then.

However a few wee small drams tonight will not go amiss.

Exactly, although the chilled rose is going down quite nicely at the moment.

Leave the Champers till sept but until then cava with a drop of angostura bitters and sugar is an EXCELLENT substitute.A new high i've discovered.

Arses and cockshivers. I've decided I'm hitting the wild streets of SOUTHWICK tonight with the wife for a few beers and MAYBE a cheeky tapas meal at La Cala.

f*** it. Tonight is a SPECIAL night. Three years from now, probably this VERY NIGHT, we'll be having our first League Cup tie under the floodlights at our NEW STADIUM. Now if that ain't worth marking, I dunno what is.

:cheers:
