It's in the Shoreham Herald too, but I wonder how many people that buy, or even read online, either publication can actually be bothered to read what Harty writes in his column.
Less than half I bet.

They seem to have a combined circulation (as of 2012, last figures I could find) of around 20k. It's the sort of paper people only read when it's lying around on the table in the dentist's waiting room. A bit like my local paper, the Mid Sussex Times. Nothing remotely newsworthy, just adverts for private schools, garden tools and appliances for those with restricted mobility. A couple of letters from the neighbourhood oddballs, the local Sunday League football round up, and a story or two about a cat that meows along to the theme tune from Cash In The Attic and a child who got his hand stuck in a swing.

Don't miss this one, from the Sports section:

WORTHING Pavilion Bowling Club are looking forward to welcoming a high calibre of players for their first indoor PlanetBowls event. The Jack of Clubs Open begins tomorrow and continues on Saturday and Sunday. There will be 76 entrants competing, with Commonwealth Games medallists and England internationals involved.

I live only a couple of hundred yards away from there, I'd best keep my windows shut or the smell of urine might get to me.

Hmmm..I actually bother to buy the Shoreham Herald for the odd bits of local (for me) news that I don't find elsewhere..not sure what that says about me then :(

What an extraordinary thread!

We have people suggesting that the club is censoring NSC, despite there being thread after thread slagging off every aspect of the club being posted on here in the last few weeks. I do not remember reading so many anti-club posts for ages and yet, guess what, they are still there.

The only censorship I remember was around poogate for obvious reasons, and other threads have been removed for libellous comments, none of which involved the club from what I remember. We also have the main, banned, conspiracy theorist posted under an assumed name in defence of the original, false assertions.

You could not make it up really. It is such a shame that the mods of this forum have to waste their time on this bibble.

Someone requests that the mods areas is shown, and it is shown, someone also requests that all meetings and conversations between Bozza and the mods with Paul Barber are brought out into the open, and they are listed. I'm not sure of the point you are trying to make.

Sorry to jump in, and I am not supporting one view or another here, but showing of the Mods area as proof that all was above board was negated somewhat by the posting of a humorous mock up of the mods area, which apart from providing a giggle, proved that Bozza could have done the same and made the Mods area look however he wanted it to, to us plebs.
I do not believe that was the case, but if I were suspicious that there are hidden agendas, I guess I would be suspicious of that proof.

I've avoided this thread (with by my standards incredible discipline). Only really because I didn't want to give any credibility to a small time reporter from an even small time rag who makes no input toward the club, other than feed fellow malcontents diatribe. Shouldn't he be concentrating his footy outgoings to Worthing FC? I never see derisory stuff about BHA in the Eastbourne Gazette or Herald. Bad enough some of the stuff that Andy Naylor churns out, but at least it's his remit.

I guess he could have done. I can categorically assert that he didn't, but that wouldn't help a conspiracy theorist because I'm part of the conspiracy, right? The problem is that it's impossible to disprove a negative. People will either have to accept that what Bozza posted is what is there (it is), or not, as they wish.

Great work everyone - nearly 20,000 page views are up.

The moderator piss-ups won't pay for themselves.

Are they the ones that the club are banned from?
