He did the job here was put there to do.

anybody in our squad could have ran about up front and gave away persistent, niggly little fouls. f***, even i could have done it

You call that a job? Even sticking someone like Fraser up there could have done a job.

And did it better than Virgo did it in the second half.

All Virgo had the job of doing was watching the ball fly over the top of his head 9 times out of 10. At least in the first half Hart probably had SLIGHTLY better service.
I thought Hart was awful. Yes he put himself about etc. etc. but if we are already turning to Gary Hart at this stage of the season we aren't getting out of this league.

I thought he done really well for the first 30 minutes and held the ball up well, but our supply to him and Forster was shocking today.

Remember a strikers only as good as the service they receive from midfield.

That said, he looks to overweight and has no pace...there were a couple of balls he should have won but was just too slow to react

Hart's positional sense seemed to me to much better. Neither of them got much service, but Hart was presenting more opportunities for a challenging ball to be played through than Virgo did.

Have you been drinking? hart shouldn't even be at the club let alone on the pitch

He really wasn't that bad today but he needed more support, surely we know by now he isn't going to get to every ball or beat his man.

Harty - you have been a fantastic servant and will always be a top man in many fans eyes for this club but please please realise that you no longer have it in you at this level.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
why the f*** was fat matt on the wing?

I thought he was our best attacking midfielder, personally.

Hart was poor, but I don't think he should be written off after just one game upfront. However, Murray will come straight back into the team, so he is not going to have the run he might need to settle there. So I would be inclined to dip into the loan/transfer market for an out and out striker or give Dixon a chance.
