Icy has gone mad recently. I had to put him on ignore. For his own good <sigh>

What?

Harry, I’m surprised….. @Icy Gull one of the best posters on here….. Has this right for me….. together with most things other than Chris Hughton 😉

It is about discussion….. no madness involved that was King George III

He did something to annoy me. Can't even remember what it was now, although I have a vague recollection of attitudes that I thought had died out with my parents' generation. But I've moved on and I don't do looking back. I'm sure most of his œuvre is fine. It is what it is.

Sorry I meant newspapers. I think it’s just the Telegraph. I love that paper. Never read an editorial by any paper in my life, I’m independent thinking, zero interest in what an arrogant left or right wing hack has to say.

I differentiate between the tabloids and the quality papers. The tabloids are scum and that includes the Mirror. They destroy lives.
The Telegraph has some reasonable journalist and some of their columnists are bat shit crazy,

Know all.....

I quote...'But according to USA Today, a book marking the tenth anniversary of Princess Diana’s death entitled After Diana, suggests that Prince Harry himself was concerned about the issue. He apparently asked for a DNA paternity test. The book once again addresses the long-discussed accusation that Hewitt was his father. The American author, Christopher Anderson shockingly suggests that the 22 year old prince may not in fact be third in line to the throne. However, no paternity test has been undertaken and there is no evidence that Harry is not a Windsor. Anderson’s book however is still stoking the rumours ten years on, he names witnesses who in fact say Diana and Hewitt were lovers before, not after, Harry was born.

At that point I realised this was garbage from Hans Christopher Anderson.

True - but he’s hardly kept a low profile in the States either.
His having a high profile should not be incompatible with his not being happy about having his phone tapped when he was at school (etc., etc.,).

That sort of false equivalence is not a million miles away from the old 'contributory negligence' argument used to defend rapists when they attacked women in provocative short skirts.

In short he can be interviewed by David Frost and at the same time object to being harassed by the media. He has the right. If I did an interview with the late David Frost I would not be happy if some spotty oaf from the Faversham Times took to hiding in my shed and taking photos of me, masturbating in the privacy of my own dressing gown.

When is this cretin going to go away.Arrogant, entitled, hypocritical. He is clearly seriously damaged from his upbringing and mothers death and just needs lots of therapy. On the other hand William had the same upbringing yet seems fine.

Whilst agreeing phone tap wise….

I would argue the comparison to rapists and short skirts etc.. is a poor one IMO, and not comparable at all.

You cannot opt for a low profile, move abroad and within months appear on Oprah. Feels like cake and eating it for me.

Some Yank makes up rubbish to try to sell a book with suggestions. Ok

Well I haven't been over his utterances with a fine tooth comb and, frankly, I doubt there is a great deal for me to learn if I were to do so - I already know he's not the sharpest tool in the box, but did he ever claim to want to be anonymous and, even if he did why not close off with an Oprah interview, and a Netflix 'f*** off, you Windsors!' doc? All filmed in America, where nobody yet appears to want to stalk him. For lots of money, which will help him then move along and vanish into anonymity should he so wish.

Good luck to him. I won't be watching it, but I don't feel the need to mock him or call him a hypocrite. He isn't.

And doing some interviews and making a TV series does not mean was OK, after all, to stalk him and tap his phones in the past. For me, time travels in only one direction, and even if he now decides to become an MMA fighter and make soft porn movies with his missus this still doesn't justify the behavior of British Journalists passim. No cakes being eaten.

You are of course entitled to take a more condemnatory position and even retrofit what he's been through with a sort of justification based on his current arguable venality, should you feel the need. It seems to be quite a popular past time  .

Really? He’s already had affair and his marriage looks big rocky.
Btw, he’s not in court giving evidence against the Mirror Group, because he’s already settled out of court.

Harry & Meghan have been stalked in Canada, which is why they moved, and in California,
Before their daughter was born, Meghan had a miscarriage. As she was coming out of the clinic, obviously feeling very upset, as the biological clock is ticking, paparazzi jumped out from behind shrubbery to get pictures.
Any family would be distressed at that intrusion.

Do you let the lies continue from a certain section of the Palace, or do you accept an interview to put your side of the story?

Crikey. Still going on, then.

But I won't condemn them from earning a few quid from their celebrity, if that's what they are doing.

The 'contributory negligence' narrative is false equivalence.

Are they lies?
Are these the racists he refers to - William’s denial seemed quite robust….

He allegedly quit the Royal family, as he didn’t want to subject his family to the same pressures he faced…. Lower profile, no royal spotlight etc…. Then appears on Oprah and writes a book. Not much staying under the radar there, and frankly is naive if he thinks otherwise

Depends who you want to believe I guess. William also lost his Mother and has also been stalked by the press.

We are still speculating on the motives of two people we have never met and relying on unreliable reporting on their thoughts and actions to decide our judgement and opinion.

As salacious gossip goes, this one just won't flush away will it?

Anyone who tries to hold the vile, feral UK tabloid press to account gets my support.
Literally anyone for me. They are responsible for the dumbing down of society, an infectious cancer

I absolutely love Harry for no other reason than the sewer sheets hate him. Anyone who brings the tabloids down is great in my books. Evil rags.

Please note, I am not advocating watching GB News

Sky business news just covered this in detail.

The Telegraph is a highly sought after title, not insolvent, Lloyds Bank are starting an auction at £600m, already huge interest.

Sky guessing mentioned Murdoch. He won’t be allowed imho, he’d the control the two main broadsheets.
